Amazon has recently announced the expansion of its renewable energy investments to over 600 wind, solar, and battery storage projects worldwide, including more than 230 projects in Europe. According to Bloomberg NEF, Amazon remains the world’s largest corporate purchaser of renewable energy for the fifth consecutive year globally and is the leading corporate purchaser in Europe for 2024. These investments are integral to Amazon’s Climate Pledge commitment to achieve net-zero carbon emissions across its operations by 2040.
